Vice City Vape Lounge

Project Overview
Vice City Vape Lounge is a new, high-energy retail space catering to a youthful, culturally plugged-in demographic. The founders approached me to build a brand identity from the ground up that didn't just feel like another retail shop, but rather an immersive, gamer-inspired destination. The goal was to create a bold, unapologetic visual presence that would instantly resonate with their target audience and translate perfectly to physical signage.
The Problem
The vape and lifestyle market is highly saturated, often dominated by generic or overly corporate branding. To stand out as a new business, Vice City Vape Lounge needed an energetic, highly memorable logo that instantly appealed to its target audience and anchored its entire visual presence. The challenge was to capture a playful, edgy, retro-arcade gaming vibe without looking dated or alienating casual customers.
Design Approach
To give the brand its signature 'loud' personality, I leaned into a graffiti-meets-arcade visual direction. I designed sharp, angular custom lettering that mimics the high-octane feel of classic video games. I established a vibrant, neon-inspired color scheme featuring electric pinks, cyan blues, and bright yellows—strategically chosen to pop aggressively against dark backgrounds and translate seamlessly into physical neon signage and apparel.
